Barbara Curatolo joined Cowdery & Murphy, LLC in 2019 after serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Douglas S. Lavine of the Connecticut Appellate Court.
She earned her B.A. in Communications and English with a minor in Philosophy, cum laude, from John Carroll University in 2013. In 2018, she graduated from Western New England University School of Law, cum laude, earning her J.D. While at Western New England University School of Law, she was Senior Editor of the law review and received the CALI Awards for Excellence in Criminal Law, Torts, Contracts, Business Organizations, and Income Tax. She served as research assistant to Professor Anne Goldstein and the now Dean-Sudha Setty, and she was also a teaching assistant for Civil Procedure, Constitutional Law, and Business Organizations.
Ms. Curatolo is the coauthor of “Rethinking the Discharge of Late-Filed Taxes in Consumer Bankruptcy,” a law review article written with Professor Justin Dion, which was published in the Western New England Law Review in 2018.
